One more thing,

I searched the qooxdoo docs and here:
http://qooxdoo.org/about/release_notes/0.8.1

I found this:
"In IE6 some icons showed a black background (image transparency broken)."

Couldn't tell why that'd only appear outside of your office, but well...
You might want to check an update to a newer qooxdoo release if you 
still stick with 0.8.
