Yes, I think that call only returns actual table data and not
metadata. What I do, is when I am creating the table, I attach a copy
of the JSON to the table as a new property and then when I need to
know about the metadata, I use the new property to get at that info.
For me that seems to work fine. Here is what the pseudo code looks
like:
var data = {some JSON data};
var tm = new table model
tm.setColumns(my column array);
tm.setDataAsMapArray(data)
var t = new table(tm);
t.originalData = eval(qx.util.Json.stringify(data))l // this makes a
copy of the data and doesn't simply reference the JSON but I guess a
reference might work for you, but I need to know what the data started
out as for some things that I am doing.
