Hi Matt, I'm not sure, but the using from qx.Class.patch() [1] could help in your case.
Call this method so early as possible, e.q. in the Application.js with the new mixin that should override the "addState" method. qx.Class.patch(qx.ui.core.Widget, custom.MyMixin); If you have any problems, please ask.
