as Robert mentioned correctly, the TextField takes only strings as value
(it's not a bug - it's a feature ;-) ).
If you use 12+"" JavaScript will convert the integer 12 to a string using
the toString() method on the Number. Since all objects in JavaScript have a
toString() method, you could do this with everything:
w.setValue({"foo":"bar"}+"");
May I ask what you have in mind asking this? Often it's handy to use the
Spinner for numeric values or you could write your own NumberField (based on
TextFeidl), if you need it...
