Hi,
I agree that TreeVirtual is certainly the way to go with a tree this size,
but one thing that probably isn't initially obvious is that a 'build'
application is hundreds(?) of times faster than a 'source' one. I have a
tree with a few hundred items in it, and it takes FF about 20 seconds or so
to create the tree, while the 'build' version is near instantaneous.
(I've been meaning to do some profiling to find out why.. it's certainly in
the .add method)
