The downside of debugging... it always adds performance overhead.
I've had great success with YAWS and FireFox+Firebug or Google's Chrome.
But I also plan out my development to be more than one minor change +
page reload.

I'm not ready to leave firebug. Actually, if I completely
disable firebug, my app loads faster (half of usual time).
