As I said, I think this should not be a "hidden" feature and either be documented in the API (rowArr EITHER being an array of arrays OR an empty array) or implemented somehow differently. I think documentation is also inconsistent for the other table models, but they are less complicated to check as setData() doesn't do that much there.
