I just created a new application and was able to run the build version both with Chrome 4.0.221.8 and FireFox 3.5.3 for OS X without any problems. It is hard to debug with only the optimized (build) code and stacktrace. Could you post your source code so that I can reproduce your problem? Do you get any warnings when running the source version?
