I guess the white area is not set by a color. You should look at qx theme constructs in the api doc. Good luck. By the way is there any new themes planed by the dev crue?

The green shaded area is controlled by the TabView's backgroundColor, and the red area by the Page's backgroundColor, but it isn't clear to me how to control the white area.
