Hi,

You should first get familiar with the HelloWorld-Example and how the
qooxdoo-Toolchain works afterwards you can start working in an IDE.

BTW. If you are a JavaDev you might probably find it easier to use QxWT
[1] which is a GWT-Wrapper for qooxdoo.
