Hi,
I have a problem with IE8 and its 'Protected Mode'. The Qooxdoo application
I'm working on allows the user to download files (it creates an invisible
IFRAME and uses it for the download to prevent reloading the main window).
This works fine on most browsers.
However, on IE8 with 'Protected Mode' on (the default browser/mode in
Windows 7), the first time (in a browser session) that a download is
attempted, the yellow warning bar appears at the top of the window asking
for confirmation. After confirming the download, the window (and therefore
my app) is reloaded. Obviously, this is rather annoying (however, it is not
a showstopper, as downloads work without the confirmation afterwards - until
closing the browser).
Is there any workaround for this? Or other approaches for downloads that do
not run into this kind of problem?
Many thanks,
