We've done some fixes for newer Firefox versions, but only at the "0.7.x" 
branch. Maybe this would get you further.
I do not know how big your app is, so migrating to the newest version would 
take some time (depending on the code base,  though).

Both issues are unfortunately not related to the issues we recently fixed in 
"0.7.x" and I guess we won't fix them anymore.

If you upgrading you have to do a semi-automatic migration and I can't give 
you any numbers how long this might take. There are huge differences between a 
0.6.x and a 1.0.x based app. 

  * new Class definition
  * new GUI layer
  * Theming

to just name the big ones.
