Hi Olivier, I assume you mean qx.ui.* and not qui.ui.*, right? TextField and TextArea still have a getValue method (inherited from qx.ui.form.AbstractField) in qooxdoo 1.0.1, so it should work.
Where are you seeing this error? In the browser console? Could you post the exact message? Also, is this the source version of your application and did you run the generator again after migrating?
