Welcome, and yes, most of the core devs work in Karlsruhe, and we once
in a while invite people around to meet up, usually around a local
conference we're attending. Keep an eye on that ...

You're right. We're not looking much into that... don't know, it never
really materialized for us. In comparison, outside the list
stackoverflow is a much better place to reach us, but then, it's no chat.
