Qooxdoo API documentation says LayoutItem.getBounds() should contain the layoutItem's location (as properties "left" and "top"). I assume that this is the location relative to the element returned by layoutParent(). Is there a way to get the absolute (screen) location of a layoutItem? If not: I'm trying to get the coordinates of a mouse event relative to the position of a layoutItem (the location of the mouse pointer within a layoutItem); is there anything that would help with that? An extensive search of the API docs has yielded nothing (which may well be my fault).
