I think the easy way is to create an own List and an own ListItem.
Your ListItem should extend from the qooxdoo ListItem and implements one
entry.
Your List should extend the qooxdoo List. The List has the event handler
method _onScrollPaneY for e.q. which is informed about the y-axis
scrolling. You can override the method, and add your behavior to check
when the end of the scrolling is reached. You can find all needed
methods on qx.ui.core.scroll.ScrollPane, which is the child control
"pane" in the list widget.
