Hello Petr,

the bug you are referring to must be #2892 (or #487, #1300, #938).

Setting the cursor globally is no trivial task since there are several
places inside the framework which will change it depending on the situation
(e.g. drag and drop). However, you can use

widget.getApplicationRoot().setGlobalCursor(foo);

IMHO I would wait for #2892 to be fixed...
