Hi,

the validation itself is capable of such situations. Add a validator to the 
manager itself and you can validate more than one field in context. But as you 
said, you only have the possibility to add the default red border and a 
message. This should be enough for all default use cases the framework should 
cover. But if you like to have more, it is always possible. You can define your 
own decorator in your theme and set this decorator in you special invalid case.

First case, you have one field independent of the contents validated in other 
fields, there is already support for it. (red frame around)
Second case, you have one field dependent of the contents of one or more other 
fields, there is no direct support when it comes to the frame. If you have an 
either or situation between two fields the frame is still a red frame with a 
continous line. Could b different like f.i. dotted!
