Well, its the base layer for all of qooxdoo so it is important, also to the UI 
part of the framework!

I know most of these frameworks and haven't seen a better performance than we 
have. And btw. comparing the split pane is not a good idea. We know that the 
split pane can not be as speedy as we don't use CSS for our layouts.

Maybe the comfort qooxdoo offers has a price? Why is that a proof it can be 
more efficient.
