please be fair. In the title of your email, you have made a pretty strong
and broad statement ("qooxdoo is slow"), which people have reacted to in
various ways. Some have tried to objectively refute your argument, some have
been a bit taken aback or even felt offended by the bluntness of the
statement. So I think it is natural that a strong statement will get a
strong answer. Others, even from the core team, have supported some of your
assesment. 

I think you won't find anyone that is not in favor of performance
improvements. The question is what the tradeoffs are. And in general, people
seem to be happy with speed, and where they aren't, they use a different
tool.
