Hey,

the click events on the iOS devices are faked by the OS, as you can imagine 
because you are not clicking on the screen, you are taping. And iOS implements 
a cancel of that event faking if the DOM is manipulated during the event chain. 
We already fix that in trunk:
http://bugzilla.qooxdoo.org/show_bug.cgi?id=4033

So using the devel version, you should see that qooxdoo apps are working in 
general. I'm not saying that they perform well but you can use them.
