Hi,

For those who are interested, I put together both a gist and a
playground demo of the editable label I described earlier today. It can
be used with any form element except for selectbox and other
selection-style widgets (I haven't yet implemented this, it's not
impossible). The gist can be loaded from username cellog in the
playground, or from this shortened url: http://1url.com/GV. That url
shortens a 31161 character-long URL from the playground, so be forewarned.

The demo starts with the editablefield class and ends with the
playground form renderer demo modified to use the editable label around
the textfield, passwordfield, checkbox, and textarea fields.

My plans include implementing a shaded inset background when the mouse
is hovering, just like google calendar does to indicate a field is
editable if clicked, and to add support for selectboxes and similar form
fields.

The editable label reduced the size of one of my forms by 3/4, which
makes it a lot clearer.

Incidentally, if anyone has a better way to handle the arguments of the
standardfield clazz creation, I'm all ears

Greg
