Well, Unify documentation is sort of sparse right now, and they don't
have a mailing list or a forum, just a twitter. I felt that learning
qooxdoo would give me a better understanding of it, as well as an
understanding of how Unify is built on top of it. Stuff like where
files are, how they are organized, how widgets work, etc..

I do. I should have mentioned it to begin with.

Ok, it makes sense now.

Since I'm on the Unify subject, are you guys in contact with each other ?
What are the main differences between their fork of qooxdoo and the
official branch ?
Also, are there any plans for qooxdoo to go more mobile ? It seems
that now it's mostly a desktop framework. I haven't seen mobile
oriented widgets in the demo.

Thanks for all the help and info. It's really nice to walk into a
framework that has actual documentation, great build tools, and great
structure. I'm sort of new into the big RIA thing, and it's a nice
change from hacking jQuery plugins that end up a spaghetti mess as
more and more functionalities are added.
