By using the generic format built-in to javascript Date the result is ugly in
some locales.... The generic format was built mainly for the English speaking
countries.
For example:
English: 1. June
Swedish: 1:a juni, (not 01. jun, though June can be abbreviated jun, then at
least 1 jun)
We will propose a patch to the current format, which we will add, but before
that we ask people at this forum if there is some other wishes in this context.
