Hi, when you are using a Grow layout the layout can also shrink, so you have also specify a min width to avoid a shrinking. But I have tried this with the TabView with no success. So it seems to me the his is a bug, could you please open a bug report.
But the good news. I have found a workaround, when you set the min width to the "pane" child control. Then it works like expected: http://tinyurl.com/3734dz9 Cheers, Chris Am 20.10.2010 10:46, schrieb sub: > Hi, > > I was curious to see if someone can explain the following ... > > http://tinyurl.com/26hmz4k > > I was looking at the demo of the tabview layout. > I noticed that in the demo each of the pages were using a VBox layout. > Considering there is only one child widget I changed it to use the Grow > layout thinking it would be more efficient but for some reason the child in > the page widget (in the example it is just a label) does not grow to fill > the parent but in the VBox layout it does! > > What am I misunderstanding here? ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Download new Adobe(R) Flash(R) Builder(TM) 4 The new Adobe(R) Flex(R) 4 and Flash(R) Builder(TM) 4 (formerly Flex(R) Builder(TM)) enable the development of rich applications that run across multiple browsers and platforms.
