This is cool stuff! I am all for wrapping the API as a qooxdoo-contrib that has your test code as the demo - so others can profit from this. Without knowing the google API at all, what comes to my mind as a candidate for wrapping would be any event driven stuff -- so that the API fits in nicely in the qooxdoo addListener() paradigm.
