Hi, Sounds like a bug.
Could you please open a bug report for this issue (http://bugzilla.qooxdoo.org/)? To help us to solve the bug you could try to reproduce the problem in the qooxdoo playground (http://demo.qooxdoo.org/current/playground/#) and post the link in the bug report as well (perhaps you can just copy paste & alter your code by replacing the async calls with timeouts).
