Sorry for the late answer. I would also use the flow layout and implement an
own selection manager, that would add a state "selected" to the selected
widgets. In the theme you could then paint a different background color.

Hi. Hope someone could help me to clear up this:
I was wondering how gmx could achieve that special kind of layout (in File
Storage application) which imitate the Windows Explorer's Thumbnail View. I
think the base of this layout is Flow. The special about that is how we can
navigate through its items with he cursor keys. The navigation is working
properly not only the left/right (prev/next) but the up/down directions too.
Regarding the flexibility of the layout it is not evident which item should
get the focus on up/down keypress.
Has anyone of you an idea or maybe direct information about this?
