up to where does it run? Does the site show the 'Desktop'?

Just did some testing with a CDROM based minimal system, (no caching, 
proxied via TOR) and site and demo come up clean.

One problem might be that the GLES initialisation on your system is not 
working properly, but this could be checked by perusing the very basic 
demos on Khronos

It is of course a huge dependency which the WebGL system incurs given 
the usually really crappy state of graphic card drivers in general. All 
in all, no - I'm not writing a Doom emulator in the browser but was 
simply interested what the mileage of such an approach would be. Might 
be that the qooxdoo devs do have WebGL on their agenda?
