I'm waiting for the real hardware to test qooxdoo in Windows CE.
The only things I had try is using a "windows phone", not the latest one, but
not sure if it is Windows CE or some other flavor.
I then try IE from that phone via WiFi and nothing but the HTML page shown.
js look like loaded but nothing appears.
Note : this was a very very quick test at lunch time in a restaurant, so
nothing should be taken as definitive conclusion :-)
That's why I asked if anyone here had a previous experience using qooxdoo on
Windows CE.
I would be ready to try a "diet qooxdoo" architecture via qxoo + pure simple
HTML for the widgets.
Is RPC part of qxoo or is it included in qooxdoo ? I would love to use qxoo to
call the server using JSON serialization but fill HTML widget via DOM instead
of qooxdoo widget.
This is to keep the server code but remove heavy js for all the widgets since
the GUI is really simple on Windows CE screen.
A complex screen would be 1 combo, 3 basic fields and one table (2 lines, 3
columns max).
I'll let you know what happen ...
