Hi Jim,

have you tried to configure Firebug to break on uncaught exceptions? Not sure 
what you're observing is actually an exception, but its worth a try and might 
provide you with more details about what is going on.

Other than that, do you get the expected result when you issue the request with 
a command line utility such as curl?
