Hi, this sure looks like a (nasty) bug.
I bet you get a long running script warning in the console? If I remember correctly, we've recently fixed a similar bug. Perhaps, it is even related. As always, it would be very helpful if you provided a small example with your code in question. Our playground is a good place for that [1].
