The attempt to use 'focus' and 'blur' is not working. The selected value is still visible in the browser, but will not be synchronized with the server. I found a function called 'dispatchEvent'. Maybe it can be used to fire a user defined event programmatically. But when i try to create a new event object with a constructor call like 'new qx.event.type.DataEvent', an exception 'qx is not defined' is thrown.
