Thx for the fix. Unfortunately we rely on synchronous requests, so I
think we'll have to dig into the internals to see what is going on.
Can you give us some idea of where to look first? From your comment it
is not clear what is going wrong. The "remove" at least gets the
widget out of the widget tree and makes it disappear. Is the problem
that qooxdoo decides to leave the button focused even though it is
going ahead and removing it, because it sees a handler is still
running?

Actually, I just remembered that removing the call to dispose also
makes the example work. Now I am really confused. :) I guess qooxdoo
is cleaning up after invoking any handlers, and because I disposed the
button altogether it cannot get to it to unfocus it?

Any clues welcome, but you've given me some ideas (and I see a
workaround -- defer the dispose).
