Hej Andreas!

Yes, we did. Yes, two interface choices, both web based desktop (the qooxdoo
part); one mobile (LRIA) and one RIA.
We also developed some kind of tree/folder widget too as it was missing in the
framework.

No, it is not amazing at all. Yes, "switching" interfaces if the user wishes.
We ask when we need it and the more we have worked with qx the easier it
becomes. There is almost no docs, but we read through all files to find out.
Nothing new has been invented and it is not rocket science!!! I would say it is
in a pretty good shape, though:
1. we would like the mobile to be "identical" in terms of structure with the
RIA, where it is possible
2. some missing widgets
We will put together a doc with our experience.

No one can not wait for anything they don't know of!!!

We disclose when the customer has nothing against it. Nevertheless, we can
share some info of how we did this app:
1. We decided to first focus on Android, Iphone, Ipad and Blackberry.
2. We wanted access too the hardware; Here we were looking at PhoneGap and
Titanium.
- PhoneGap: less "native" if native at all, support for more phones, web
packaging
- Titanium: more "native", less support of phones, no or less web packaging
The choice was Titanium of many reasons.
3. Why Titanium at all? Hardware control! So we started to develop the hardware
functionality in Titanium which is also written in javascript and "compiled"
and packaged. We tested the same in PhoneGap and the result was not as good.
4. We tried to keep all possible functionality web based, except hardware
related hooks, and here qx mobile comes into play. The qx mobile app was
integrated by a WebView widget in Titanium and it is more or less impossible to
see any difference from a true native app. This way the hardware related code
is communicating with the web based app part.
Now an alpha version is running and we hope that we soon can make it into
production by time.
We would love to see the low level qx interface in Titanium instead of their
own. Can this be achieved in the near future?
