Hi, I can't reproduce the problem, so all I can do is guess what might be causing it.
You said your locator works with a qxClick command but qxTableClick gives you the "Could not find clipper child of the table" error, right? qxTableClick takes your locator and extends it to find the qx.ui.table.pane.Clipper child element. The only reason why that should fail is if your locator returns a widget that doesn't have the same internal structure as qx.ui.table.Table. I just added a quick check to user-extensions.js (SVN rev 27563) so you should get a different error message if that's the problem: qxTableClick: The widget identified by the locator [...] is not a table! Give it a try and let me know the results.
