I think which one you choose may depend on what your needs are. The new
virtual tree is no longer marked "experimental" IIRC, so it is supposed to
be ready for prime time. If it meets your needs, it uses the modern data
binding scheme that is spreading throughout qooxdoo, and may well be the
better choice. If not, TreeVirtual works well and will not likely be
deprecated any time soon, since it has been a highly popular widget.

I believe that qx.ui.tree.VirtualTree begain life in the qx.ui.virtual.*
namespace. In any case, yes, it's the new one I'm talking about.
