Hi Varol,

there are some events especially for a touch device like the iPad. (Have
a look at the API e.g.
http://demo.qooxdoo.org/current/apiviewer/#qx.ui.core.Widget~touchmove).

I'm not sure if the listeners for such events are all implemented on the
core widgets like window, yet, as you described it seems not if windows
are not draggable.

And there are still some events not working very well or are missing.
For example a double-click has no effect on widgets, it let the browser
zoom in.

Apart of that, I've made some good experience with other mobile Browsers
on the iPad. I use "Terra" at the moment (free on the app store). The
Javascript performance is much better than Safari.

And it's also a good idea to switch to the light or classic theme. The
modern theme is noticeable slower.

Regards,

Andreas

Hey,

I played around with QooxDoo for a while now and really like it but I
tried using it the other day on my iPad and found that E.g. the windows
cannot be dragged around, and in general the performance is way worse
than on Linux, Windows or even on a Mac.

I searched online for answers to no avail. So in general, aside from the
mobile API, is there any other support planned for tablets in the
current API ?

Please point me to online resources I have missed in case this has been
discussed before.

Thanks in advance,

Varol Okan
