Hi Maybe this functionality should be part of standard String cell renderer. Because: No HTML has to be used and augmented to define the interface. The qooxdoo developer does not even have to know CSS to style the interface. I know that we have option to make our own cell renderers (for some special cases) But I think that standard String cell render should have style=white-space : pre .
