I found a thread at: http://thread.gmane.org/gmane.comp.lang.javascript.qooxdoo.devel/34050 <http://thread.gmane.org/gmane.comp.lang.javascript.qooxdoo.devel/34050/focus=34097>

Running the mixin constructor before the constructor of the including class may simplify things for me. I think this will be a good addition/change to the framework. Don't you?

Anyway, I have created the report: http://bugzilla.qooxdoo.org/show_bug.cgi?id=6226

    Hi,

Is the mixin constructor *always* executed after the constructor
    of the
    including class?

There was a long discussion about this on the mailing list about a year or two ago. It's probably worth your while to locate that discussion, to see all of the reasons why it should work one way or the other way.

In any case, yet, it's consistent in its behavior, and if the documentation isn't clear, please generate a bugzilla report so the documentation can be corrected.

Derrell
