Do you think there is a bug in the framework?
I have tested text input with all qooxdoo apps that I know and I think FF11 is
pretty fast.
Perhaps Firebug was opened?

since my update to firefox 11 the textfiels input in larger
applications is often very slow. Under chrome and i think i can
remeber under firefox 10 it isnt slow as like firefox 11
