I've made a kind of spreadsheet type grid by using: qx.ui.virtual.core.Scroller qx.ui.virtual.layer.WidgetCell
It's for most part how the virtual gallery is done in demos. I'd like the first row and column to have different characteristics. The first row should be wider, as it contains a string. I thought using qx.ui.virtual.layer.WidgetCellSpan seems like the way to go, and yet I cannot get the first row to span. I might be going about this all wrong... In any case, here is what I've done that does not work: var scroller = new qx.ui.virtual.core.Scroller(rowCount, colCount, this.itemHeight, this.itemWidth); var rowConfig = new qx.ui.virtual.core.Axis(60, 1); var colConfig = new qx.ui.virtual.core.Axis(60, 1); this.layer = new qx.ui.virtual.layer.WidgetCellSpan(this, rowConfig, colConfig); scroller.getPane().addLayer(this.layer); Any suggestions or advice is much appreciated.
