Hey,
I don't have the time to check the whole scenario in detail but a quick check 
seems like you are doing nothing wrong here. But I have no idea why the number 
increases so that seems like a bug to me. Could you put your findings in a bug 
report in our bugzilla so that we can check in detail later?
