Hi Tobi, we decided to push this topic back in favor of focusing on the 2.0 release. So we'll start working on it pretty soon but it'll be a while until we have a fully functional replacement for the SourceForge respository. It would be very much appreciated if you (and any other contrib maintainers reading this) could update your compatibility info.
