Hi, I've seen a similar thing once before in IE9 and it turned out to be running in IE8 compatibility mode so it was acting differently.

Both of them show a simple login window with a select box: The first one ("deco_ok") shows the window as it is supposed to be and which is displayed this way on my local developer machine (with xampp installed) when I run the program from source as well as build version. It also looks exactly the same when run from a public web server. The second screen shot ("deco_not_ok") shows the same window but the program is now running on another machine which is a (presumably badly maintained) web server within our company's intranet. As you can see the select box is not displayed properly and the window pane appears to have shrunken a few pixels on the right and at the bottom. There are similar distortions with other widgets that appear later in the program. Now, what makes me really wonder is that all of this is happening within the same browser, namely IE 9. In non-MS browsers the program always looks the same, no matter on which machine it is running. Does anybody happen to have an explanation for this annoying phenomenon?
