After searching the forum, I realize this topic has come up in the past. But, I haven't really found a complete answer to the topic/question. I'm new to working with qooxdoo but not OpenLayers. I find qooxdoo's RIA appealing and was looking to possibly transform my current javascript mapping project which uses GeoExt and ExtJS along with OpenLayers to one using qooxdoo. But, where it was fairly simple to integrate OpenLayers with those two JS libraries/frameworks, I'm having more difficulty placing OpenLayers within qooxdoo. I think I just need a complete example on how one would start to do that. I've seen the map examples on the qooxdoo site but there's more to it here with OL. I've also seen snippets of code and references on what to do on the qooxdoo forum. But, not a complete simple code example. I dislike reinventing the wheel if someone's already taken the first step to create the foundation one can build on from there. So a simple code example is all I'm looking for, i.e. a map with controls and a layer.
