Yes you are right.

I added the changeSelection to qx.ui.mobile.event yesterday with commit:
https://github.com/qooxdoo/qooxdoo/commit/30773f04611c0362527fe2fab2c31d661b823641

So if you replace the old version of "qx.ui.mobile.form.SelectBox" with the 
newest version of the commit, this might solve your problem.
