Thanks for the tip. I tried it and it works but I will wait for your implementation. A couple of things I noticed in my testing:
1. With a basic TextField, tapping on the input field also brought up the keyboard on an android mobile device 2. It would be nice if there were some indication to the user that tapping on the field will bring up a picker 3.
