Ah, sorry, I mistook your sentence '"generate.py source" for the mobileClient runs without error logs.' to mean that the *source* version also runs fine in the browser, and that the problem only occurs in the build version.
If the source version has the issue, there might be a problem with the "uri" config entry for the client library, although it looks right. Did you try leaving that out? The generator usually does a good job of calculating that by itself. T.
