Franček,

I haven't looked at Google Apps. I have done some work with Google
Extensions using qx and found it was very easy to write a basic plugin
architecture for them. One of the qooxdoo-contribs - ChromePlugin - I
wrote based on my work. It provides a basic set of classes to handle
communication between the front-end part of an extension and the
background page. I just got back to looking at it (it's lain dormant
since I published the plugin I wrote against it) and it still works
with 2.1 it appears). I've just moved the code over to github at
greg-hellings/ChromePlugin.git and my Extension source is hosted there
as well at greg-hellings/ShinyProxy.git. You're welcome to look them
over to see if they give you any inspiration for working with Apps.

As for the restricted code, I can't speak to that. I'd be interested
to hear if you go down that road and what you find.
